Experienced footballer Eren Derdiyok was born on June 12, 1988, in the city of Basel, Switzerland. Throughout his career, he played for clubs such as BSC Old Boys and FC Basel, later moving to Bayer Leverkusen, Hoffenheim, Kasımpaşa, Galatasaray, Göztepe, and MKE Ankaragücü.
It is known that Derdiyok transferred from Kasımpaşa to Galatasaray in 2016. The three-year contract he signed with the club began on August 5, 2016, and lasted until May 31, 2019, marking an important stage of his career in Turkey.
