Galatasaray have initiated official transfer proceedings for Strasbourg’s Paraguayan star Julio Enciso. The Yellow-Reds, under manager Okan Buruk, are focusing on the young attacker to bolster their offensive line. Enciso’s stock rose after his standout performances for Paraguay at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Strasbourg are demanding around €35 million for the 23-year-old.
A rival has emerged from England. Ipswich Town, who had Enciso on loan for the second half of the 2024/25 season, are now pushing for a permanent deal. The English side have contacted Strasbourg to discuss financial terms.
Last season, Enciso made 42 appearances for Strasbourg, contributing 12 goals and 9 assists. During his loan spell at Ipswich Town, he started 12 matches and scored 2 goals. Galatasaray view him as a priority target to strengthen their attack.
