Galatasaray are preparing to host Kasımpaşa in the 7th week of the Süper Lig. Under head coach Okan Buruk, the team continued their match preparations with an intensive training session at the Kemerburgaz Metin Oktay Facilities.

The session began with dynamic warm-up exercises. Players then split into two groups for 8 vs 2 passing drills, followed by two-on-two duels and ball possession work. The training concluded with a high-speed running segment and a four-team mini-tournament. The squad is scheduled for another session on Tuesday, 6 October, at 17:00 to continue their build-up.

Sitting 2nd in the league with 13 points, Galatasaray are looking to bounce back from a 3-3 draw against Pendikspor in their last outing. Their recent form reads two wins, one draw, and two losses from the last five matches. The match against 8th-placed Kasımpaşa at RAMS Park on Friday, 9 October, is seen as a key opportunity to stabilise their campaign. Kasımpaşa are managed by Emre Belözoğlu.

Salih Özcan stated, "We must not lose hope!" while Yunus Akgün added, "We know we are in a difficult situation right now!". Galatasaray plan to field Victor Osimhen, the season's top scorer with 6 goals in 4 appearances, from the start.
