Ilkay Gündogan is among a trio of Galatasaray players who could be offloaded in the upcoming winter transfer window. The claim was made by pundit Ibrahim Seten on 343 Digital, who suggested Gündogan, Kaan Ayhan and Wilfried Singo are on a hit list.
Seten speculated that MLS or Saudi Arabia could be potential destinations for Gündogan. The German midfielder joined Galatasaray in autumn 2025 and made 38 appearances last season, scoring twice and providing five assists.
LIMITED MINUTES FOR ALL THREE
Kaan Ayhan has played only one minute this term and is not registered for the Champions League squad. Wilfried Singo has accumulated 41 minutes.
The limited use is described as tactical and sporting, not due to any dispute with manager Okan Buruk. The situation has drawn criticism from some supporters urging for changes.
Galatasaray currently sit second in the Süper Lig with 10 points from four games, two points behind leaders Beşiktaş. Their recent form reads LWWWD from the last five matches. The team's next league fixture is at home to 11th-placed Rizespor on December 6. The current squad list and player stats are available on our pages.
