Impressed by the competitive nature of the Süper Lig and the big names in the division, Leao affirmed, "Jorge Jesus knows me well and whatever position I am in, I will do my best." He mentioned that while he missed pre-season training, he is working towards optimal physical condition and is always ready to help the team.
