During the summer transfer window, Fenerbahçe has been active by adding players such as Vedat Muriqi, Nathan Ake, Mason Greenwood, Amara Diouf, and Adem Yeşilyurt to its roster. In contrast, Galatasaray remained relatively quiet, only signing Lesley Ugochukwu from Burnley.

The future of Rafael Leao, who has been in talks with both clubs for a long time, continues to be one of the most discussed topics in European transfer news. The 27-year-old Portuguese star is now officially linked with Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray against Milan.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, both clubs are currently investigating Leao's transfer conditions, but no agreement has been reached yet. It was reported that Fenerbahçe had its first contact with Milan this week to discuss the financial terms of the potential deal.

On Wednesday (29 July), it is expected that Fenerbahçe will hold an online meeting with Leao's agent to further explore the possibility of a transfer. For Galatasaray, a different plan is being considered.

It was reported that Galatasaray is preparing an offer including a rental period and a mandatory purchase option for Milan, but negotiations are currently on hold. Di Marzio emphasized that both clubs are far from reaching an agreement under the current conditions.

According to Sky Sport, Milan expects Fenerbahçe to make a bid of 50 million euros for Leao's transfer. However, Galatasaray is considering offering a salary package up to 10 million euros but negotiations have been put on hold.
