Galatasaray has decided to exercise the +1 year option in Ismail Jakobs' contract. The 26-year-old left-back's current contract expires in May 2027. His release clause is reportedly 25 million euros. Jakobs has been a key player in Galatasaray's left-back rotation, alongside Eren Elmalı and Kazımcan Karataş. The club signed him for 1 million euros in a loan deal and 8 million euros in a transfer fee. Roland Sallai, who will not participate in the World Cup due to Hungary's visa issues, is currently in the national team's training camp. Galatasaray's management has announced that they are open to future offers for Sallai, who is reportedly valued at least 15 million euros. Sallai has made 47 appearances for Galatasaray this season, scoring 1 goal and providing 6 assists.
